Jadeja spins India to series win over listless West Indies

When will India vs West Indies, 5th ODI match be played?

Earlier, the West Indies were in trouble right from the start after skipper Jason Holder chose to bat.

West Indies won the toss and elected to bat at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram but collapsed, surviving just 31.5 of their 50 overs under overcast skies to register their lowest ODI total against India.

The lone hiccup in the run chase came in the first over when Shikhar Dhawan lost his wicket, his inside edge crashing into middle stump off the bowling of Oshane Thomas to leave India 6 for one.

On the other hand, West Indies' fielding coach Nic Pothas said, "We didn't execute on our plans as well as we had in the previous game".

West Indies T20 squad: Carlos Brathwaite (captain), Fabian Allen, Darren Bravo, Shimron Hetmyer, Evin Lewis, Obed McCoy, Ashley Nurse, Keemo Paul, Khary Pierre, Kieron Pollard, Rovman Powell, Denesh Ramdin, Andre Russell, Sherfane Rutherford, Oshane Thomas.

The return of Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar has intensified Indian pace attack while youngster Khaleel Ahmed also found his form in the 4th ODI where he picked three key wickets and dismantled West Indies batting.
