Will you be getting Google's new Pixel 3 phone?

As Google announces the Pixel 3 series prices in India, Android smartphone buffs will have to burn a lot more cash or be prepared for more EMIs.

The primary difference is the size of the phones. In short, the process to the hide the notch in the Google Pixel 3 XL, isn't exactly very user-friendly.

Telstra customers can now pre-order the Google Pixel 3 and the Google Pixel 3 XL.

What colours do the Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL come in? Both the devices offer users the option to go with 64GB of internal storage or 128GB which should be sufficient for most of the users as the device doesn't offer the feature of expandability. The high-end devices are priced from Rs 71,000 onwards, and are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. While the Google uses the best processor available, 6GB RAM option could have been there.

It also has its own iPhone-style Portrait mode, which allows you to alter the depth of field and even the focus point after taking the shot, so you can adjust the level of blur in the background and the foreground - take that, Apple.

Camera setup on back and front is also the same in both Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Now you will be able to get better-looking photos without relying on your camera flash.

There will be two front-facing cameras for double selfie action, with a standard and wide angle lens. Since it is an app that was already available, it should be rolled out to the old Pixel phones soon. Pick any of these and you will have the same camera experience. The iPhone also features Google's search engine, but Google may be paying Apple as much as $9 billion annually for that privilege, based on the estimates of Goldman Sachs analyst Rod Hall. However, Google's history doesn't fill us with confidence, as the Pixel and Pixel 2 were both lackluster in the battery department. While the Pixel 3 starts at United States dollars 799 in the U.S., which means a USD 150 hike from the Pixel 2's launch price of USD 649.

Featuring the latest Android 9, Android Pie, the duo sport 5.5in 1080×2160 and 6.3in 1440×2960 OLED displays. So, the only reason to choose any of these two is the size you want to get.
