Mark Wahlberg Could Be to Blame for Jimmy Butler's Trade Demands

Despite the fact that we keep inching closer and closer to the start of the 2018-19 National Basketball Association season, the Minnesota Timberwolves still have not accommodated Jimmy Butler's trade request.

In an interview with ESPN on Wednesday night, Butler said Wojnarowski's report was mostly true.

A proposed deal between the Heat and Wolves fell apart over the weekend, but there has been hope among the Minnesota front office, coaching staff and some teammates that Butler would rejoin the team. He would become an unrestricted free agent after this season, and would likely get a five-year maximum contract from interested suitors.

"It's fluid", Minnesota coach Tom Thibodeau said earlier this week of Butler's trade demand. Butler told ESPN the Timberwolves are not being truthful with him.

"KAT came at me", Butler said.

"The Miami Heat is not pushing to resume discussions with the Minnesota Timberwolves on a Jimmy Butler trade, according to a Heat source".

Butler's antics were the talk of NBA Twitter on Wednesday.

"The source declined to rule out the possibility of a deal still happening with Minnesota, but made it clear Miami would not be the one initiating trade talks".

Butler said all of Nichols' information was accurate but added, "it's not about money". Butler reiterated what he reportedly said in his explosive practice Wednesday: That he runs the show.

Woj writes: "Butler participated in multiple intrasquad scrimmages, where he joined the bench units against the starters and went out of his way to challenge the team's two young stars, Towns and Wiggins, league sources said". I'm OK. I know the truth, I know what I did, I know who I am to my core. One with Butler and the third-teamers.

"I think that's the part everybody doesn't see", Butler said. Either way, man, I love Jimmy. But when you go in that locker room and you ask those guys who do you want to play with?
