Ariana Grande Disables Instagram Comments Following Hateful Comments About Mac Miller's Death

His good friend and fellow Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa tweeted, "Praying for Mac's family and that he rest easy".

Mac Miller, who dated Ariana Grande for two years before splitting earlier this year, was found unresponsive at his Los Angeles property yesterday morning after a reported overdose.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, according to a report by TMZ.

Miller has been open about his trouble with substance abuse including an addiction to powerful cough syrup - known on the street as purple drank. The pair were first romantically linked shortly after Grande and Miller's breakup went public earlier this summer. He wrapped his Mercedes G-Wagon around an electrical pole in the San Fernando Valley and fled the scene, though police later caught up with him at his home.

Post Malone said Miller "changed so many lives", while Chance The Rapper said he was "one of the sweetest guys I ever knew". "There was this time when I was the most Googled thing on the internet". He was just 26 years old. "Mac's death is a devastating loss and cuts short a life and a talent of huge potential, where the possibilities felt limitless".

"Although the two ended their relationship, Ariana always shared a deep connection with Mac and wanted nothing but the best for him", the source added of the former couple.

Miller, real name Malcolm McCormick, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence in August following his May arrest in Los Angeles.

In late July, Miller sat down with Zane Lowe to for an interview on Beats 1 with Apple Music.

Ellis - who later issued a feeble apology, saying "it would never be my intention" and "maybe I was too friendly" - had wrapped his arm around her, his hand high above her waist and his fingers pressed against her chest.

Miller's family in a statement confirmed the death and called him "a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans".

'So I needed to get a drug that was a little more numbing, if you will, and less, like, in your head.

A neighbour said Miller would wave to children in the street and they were shocked by his death. It was his mixtapes that brought him to online fame between 2010 and 2011; he released his debut album Blue Slide Park in July 2011. The "God Is a Woman" singer, who is now engaged to Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, has not commented publicly on Miller's death.
