Maurizio Sarri Says Chelsea May Make One More New Signing

Chelsea winger Pedro has signed a one-year contract extension with the club, it has been announced today.

Despite not making a flurry of signings under Sarri, Chelsea fans are optimistic that the coming season will be a fruitful one as their new coach has promised to bring back attractive football to Stamford Bridge. I think the competition is very good for the team.

The Italian was less sure about the future of goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois who is also on the radar of Real Madrid.

Chelsea failed to qualify for the Champions League and Conte was replaced by Sarri, who led Napoli to a second-place finish in Serie A last term. "But only maybe one player".

Chelsea remain determined to keep Hazard from the clutches of Real Madrid, and every day that passes without a mega-offer or player agitation increases their confidence of achieving their aim.

There can be no doubt over Jorginho's motives for rejecting Manchester City in favour of Chelsea and a season in the Europa League. "I spoke about positions but no specifics - no names - so I don't know".

However, the 31-year-old fell out of favour with Conte last season after a disagreement over tactics and also struggled with injury for much of the campaign.

He said: "We are not at the top level now.

I want to hear from [Thibaut] Courtois", he said following Chelsea's 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.

"He has to improve on the defensive phase, I think".

"Of course, we can try to reduce the gap in the Premier League with work". The player was due to return on Monday following his exploits with Brazil in this summer's World Cup. I am comfortable here and want to win new titles and trophies.
