Demi Lovato Fans Hold Sing-Along In Place Of Cancelled Show

Pop star Demi Lovato remains in the hospital almost a week after she reportedly suffered a drug overdose.

Demi Lovato's good friend and backup dancer is sticking up for herself following allegations that she was to blame for Lovato's most recent overdose.

Demi Lovato did not overdose, according to a celebrity interventionist.

The 25-year-old singer was taken to hospital last week after she allegedly took a mystery substance and was found unconscious in her home, and now her tour mate and collaborator DJ Khaled has sent a message of support to her, wishing her a speedy recovery.

In the weeks leading up to her overdose Demi fired her sobriety coach.

Her relatives are said to be trying to set her up with a place in a rehab clinic for when she's discharged from hospital because they want to get her back on the straight and narrow as soon as possible and are anxious a return home will delay her progress.

"I have not said anything about this situation until now because her recovery has been of the most importance", the note read.

Demi Lovato is "getting better" following her reported overdose, and has been regularly visited by her former boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

Speaking to TMZ, the "Wild Thoughts" hitmaker said: "I love Demi".

"I know you're all feeling lost without her at this moment in time".

Demi released her first documentary Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated with YouTube last October to rave reviews. "Remember that you have always been a community of Lovatics who LOVE", Vitale said.

Her family are looking after her now and have plans to get her to rehab as soon as she can leave the hospital. "It's been an incredibly difficult few days, and this year has easily been the hardest I've ever experienced", he wrote on his Instagram Stories Sunday.

On the track, she sings: "Momma, I'm so sorry, I'm not sober anymore / And daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor". Most of Demi's fans had nothing but negative things to say about Vitale.
