According to TMZ, when he woke up he found himself in the back seat of the vehicle and the men told him that they would kill him if he didn't co-operate.

That's when three hooded gunmen pistol-whipped Tekashi, knocking him unconscious. Authorities say the 22-year-old stated he had been the passenger in a auto that was bumped by another vehicle around 4:30 a.m.at Atlantic Avenue and Bedford Avenue, and that three men got out and forced him into their auto. He said he was sitting at a red light when a auto bumped the vehicle he was in from behind and two men with guns jumped out. Eventually, he was able to free himself by opening one of the doors in the back and jumping out.

He escaped the vehicle and is then said to have flagged down a passing driver, getting into the passenger's seat and begging them to call 911.

He was then taken to a local hospital where doctors performed CT scans and various tests. The report comes hours after Tekashi released his Nicki Minaj collaboration, "FeFe".
