After Trump's tumult, time for tea with the queen

Mr Trump moved slightly closer, but then stood still in front of the Queen, meaning the monarch had to navigate her way around him so they could walk side by side. His Scottish-born mother, Mary Anne MacLeod Trump, "loved the queen", he said.

Blimp organizer Leo Murray told CNN the giant balloon had been created to speak to Trump "in a language that he understands, which is personal insults".

The president was soundly condemned on social media for walking in front of Queen Elizabeth as they inspected a guard of honor of the Coldstream Guards.

Ahead of his meeting with Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle this afternoon, protestors swamped Oxford Street bearing signs emblazoned with apt messages such as: "Feed him to the corgis".

The Queen all smiles as she shakes hands with Donald Trump and wife Melania - even though it looked like the US President broke royal etiquette. The President wore a suit and tie and the first lady wore a pale pink suit with a skirt and black belt.

The body language expert said the American president also appeared to be trying to feign confidence when he inspected the guard of honour with the Queen.

Mr Trump's first visit to Britain as president was not the full state visit he was originally promised, but he was heralded by military bands on his arrival at Windsor, before he and First Lady Melania went into the castle for tea with the queen. Her gait has slowed over the years and she walks slowly and carefully. He did, however, refer to her as "Your Majesty", which is the correct formal address for the Queen upon first reference.

"She is a tremendous woman. She felt Trump was true to poor form as he stumbled impolitely through their meeting", our source added.

"I think he just didn't quite know what he was supposed to be doing and probably wondered where she had got to at that moment".

"You could see that suppressed dominance where he felt that he had to still motion to her". "At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is 'no reason to be alarmed!'" Trump tweeted.

Elizabeth has now met every United States president since Dwight Eisenhower with the exception of Lyndon Johnson, who did not visit England while in office.
