Tom Holland reveals title of 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' sequel

In an Instagram video posted on his account, he apologised to fans for not having any big announcements to make about the superhero sequel, only to flip an iPad with the words "Spider-Man: Far From Home" written on it. Eagle eyed Spider-Man: Homecoming fans might remember that she was in the movie as a member of the decathlon team along with Tom Holland's Peter Parker. Anyway, we've got a title that seemingly confirms that Aunt May's heroic nephew will be venturing way beyond Forest Hills, Queens.

Of course, this title makes ideal sense because back in April, shortly before Avengers: Infinity War was released, Kevin Feige, President of Marvel, said that the new film was going to be set in London.

After spoiler-extraordinaire Tom Holland revealed the title in an Instagram video yesterday, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has officially confirmed not only the title, but that it has multiple meanings.

We've known for some time now that a sequel to "Spider-Man: Homecoming" is in the works, but we didn't know the title - until now. I'm a little confused as I died (referring to Infinity War). Whether the reveal was intentional or not is an entirely different question, but for now, we can cross the title off the list of things we know about the movie.

"It's called Spider-Man: Far From Home". Rumor is that Michael Keaton will return as The Vulture, as well as the introduction of another Spider-Man villain, Scorpion, but neither will play major roles in the film. While Venom won't be making an appearance, it's been heavily reported that Jake Gyllenhaal will portray the villainous Mysterio.

At least now we know the name as the world anxiously awaits Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019.
