Melania Trump Sets Off To Visit Detained Kids Wearing Bizarre Coat

The first lady wore the jacket during a trip to a Texas facility holding children separated from their parents after they were apprehended attempting to cross the southern us border. Whatever Mrs. Trump may or may not have intended - her spokeswoman declared "it's a jacket" with "no hidden message" - the outerwear's doctored image not only spread rapidly among those looking to sound off, but to raise money benefiting children like those the first lady visited. The high in the District on Friday, the first day of summer, was 86 degrees.

Earlier when asked what message the first lady's jacket meant to send, spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said: "It's a jacket". She knows this, and she wore a jacket with a message written out across the back that said, quite literally, "I really don't care".

"Because, in the middle of the worst moral scandal in recent memory - so bad that her husband backed down for the first time in memory - people who were supposedly on her side let her get on a plane with a jacket that said, 'I really don't care, do you?'"

She posted: "Today's visit w the children in Texas impacted @flotus greatly". Until that theoretical moment, we have the memes on one of the digisphere's most ideal blank canvases: Her green $39 jacket - one so five seasons ago, no less. It wasn't for the gesture though, but rather because of a military-style jacket with the words "I really don't care, do u?" written on the back in graffiti-style lettering.

But upon returning to the White House, she sported the jacket once more, despite stifling heat and humidity in the Washington region.

But then there was the curiously juvenile Zara jacket, which had the words "I really don't care, do U?"

Melania Trump was trolling president with jacket message.

President Trump had cited the influence of Melania and his daughter, Ivanka, in his signing the Executive Order. But it wasn't long before the first lady's controversial jacket threatened to overshadow the entire goodwill junket to the border. She was on her way to visit immigrant children being held in a shelter at the border in McAllen, Texas.

'Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!' She referenced the incident in a statement sent to reporters Thursday.
