Brazil was held to a 1-1 draw by Switzerland on Sunday in their first 2018 World Cup match.

Which team are you supporting in the 2018 World Cup? It's for the referee to see it.

"These are things that happen in football", the Real Madrid left-back said, when asked if he has yet got over the "trauma" of that night.

The Germans breezed through qualifying but endured a recent slump in friendly matches, with draws against England, France and Spain and a loss to Brazil that ended a 22-game unbeaten run. "We have a ideal defense, which makes our team balanced".

Only four survivors - Marcelo, Paulinho, Fernandinho and Willian - remain from the side routed by Germany, a game that Neymar missed due to injury.

Switzerland coach Vladimir Petkovic described the incident against Miranda as an "ordinary challenge".

"I feel similarities, Neymar was injured, Ronaldo was injured also".

Neymar was the most fouled person in the game against Switzerland.

"I don't know if it's the biggest win in (Mexico's) history but doubtless it is one of the biggest for sure", Lozano said. "They did, and it worked".

Brazil have a good team and collective quality to get themselves out of problems but Neymar tried to win the game on his own and he failed. "We had some great moments and positive moments". "We think we have a good chance to match up with them and go head to head against them".

Fox Sport Brazil's Osvaldo Pascoal didn't hold back either saying: "playing that way is vulgar football, it was incredible that Tite did not give him (Douglas Costa) at least a minute". It took them fully two years to recover from the experience, with the arrival of the Wily Tite in the dugout in the middle of 2016 restoring a sense of calm to the team.

"Until we scored the goal there was a lot of pressure". We had 20 finishes but we should have make the goalkeeper work harder.

"I am very happy about the level of performance we have shown so far".

Brazil, of course, will be looking to erase the memory of their humiliation in the 2014 World Cup on home soil when Germany beat them 7-1 in the semifinal. Serbia leads Group E after its 1-0 victory over Costa Rica. The Europeans are ranked sixth in the world, per Federation Internationale de Football Association, and should provide the South Americans with a stern test.

"I have nothing to say about it", he said.

"The goal, the aggressiveness, the creative plays, it was characteristic of our team", Tite said. "We were not blocking enough".
