Disclosures show Kushner's wealth and debt have risen

Together, Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner earned at least $82 million in outside income while working as unpaid senior advisers to her father, President Donald Trump.

Per the Washington Post, ethics experts are concerned that the extraordinary outside cash flow could create intense conflicts of interest.

Trump and Kushner aren't the only White House staffers raking in the millions, however. In July 2017, the time of their last financial disclosure, the couple reported joint income of at least 19 million dollars from business ventures and another 80 million dollars in real estate and other revenue between January 2016 and early 2017.

Bolton also reported at least $11.2 million in assets, most of which were held in what ethics rules call exempted investment funds that don't have to be divested because they invest in a wide variety of securities.

While Kushner has resigned from 260 corporate positions and no longer has any role in running his family's real estate company, he has repeatedly been subject to public scrutiny over the perception that he has not done enough to draw lines between his private business interests and his sprawling portfolio of West Wing responsibilities.

While both Kushner and Ivanka Trump were required to file financial forms previous year, it is hard to compare their past to present wealth because there are several months of overlap in the reporting period and the Office of Government Ethics uses broad ranges to calculate assets and liabilities.

Also released Monday were the disclosures covering Chief of Staff John Kelly, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, and Nick Ayers, chief of staff to Vice President Mike Pence, The Wall Street Journal reports. Other sources have estimated that Ivanka Trump's net worth is roughly $300 million, and Jared Kushner's net worth could be $800 million.

The form shows Ivanka Trump also collected almost US$290,000 in advance payments for a 2017 book she wrote titled Women Who Work. That income included $US3.9 million from the Trump International Hotel located in Washington and $US2 million in salary and severance from the Trump Organisation.

At the end of 2017, the president's daughter held assets of at least $55 million that could reach more than $75 million, the source familiar with the documents said.

"Since joining the administration, Mr. Kushner and Ms. Trump have complied with the rules and restrictions as set out by the Office of Government Ethics", said Peter Mirijanian, a spokesman for the couple's ethics lawyer, Abbe Lowell.

Kushner, meanwhile, reported $1.5 million in income from Westminster Management, which owns and manages over 20,000 apartments in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Ohio. The Trump family has faced accusations of using the presidency for personal profit.
