Warriors' Klay Thompson Questionable For Game Two, Iguodala Remains Doubtful

Warriors' Klay Thompson Questionable For Game Two, Iguodala Remains Doubtful

Kevin Durant found his steady stroke to score 26 points to go with nine rebounds and seven assists while also handling a load of the defensive assignment against LeBron James. He played the first 44 minutes of the game before being sent to the bench once the Warriors had an 18-point lead. In a 124-114 overtime win in Game 1, he went 11-for-23 shooting, including 5-for-11 from three-point range for 29 points along with six rebounds and nine assists over 46 minutes. The fact that James has been able to almost double these type of outings that Jordan had (six) in his NBA career does speak highly about not only his play on the floor but nine NBA Finals appearances.

Public backlash after the late-game mistakes by his teammates in Game 1 of the finals proves James' point, as the criticism and memes have dominated the Twitterverse and other social media. DEVELOPING: This story will be updated.

Thompson was asked if he felt "helpless" when forced to guard Steph Curry and Klay Thompson on the perimeter and didn't take kindly to that question, immediately searching for his stuff and grumbling "that's f*cked up" as he promptly walked out of the scrum.

The Warriors made an adjustment to their lineup, opting to start JaVale McGee at center in place of Kevon Looney.

It's safe to say that if Curry turns in two more performances like he did at the beginning of the series, the Cavaliers are going to have a very hard time winning a game.

Kerr remains optimistic the 2015 NBA Finals MVP will play at some point in the series.

And now, it's the fourth straight NBA Finals for Carlos Santana.

The Warriors made the announcement less than an hour before Sunday's game.

"He makes tough shots, that's what he does", Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said. "I'm not for sure, but I might have".

Guthrie is making his finals debut as a referee Sunday night for Game 2 of the Cleveland-Golden State series.

LeBron James says the Warriors are pretty with Iguodala, and pretty good without him.

"Klay will warm up and we'll see", Kerr said.
