‘Fallout 76’ Announced By Bethesda With First Trailer

Very little official details have been revealed regarding Fallout 76, such as an official release date. There's also rumors floating around that Fallout 76 might be an online multiplayer game so we will have to wait and see. Check out promo images below. There were speculations whether fans would have to stay patient until Bethesda's E3 press conference in the coming weeks but thankfully today we got some extra information. As we previously stated, a Fallout 5 would not be given ample amount of time to work as well as it could.

We have a small yet significant insight into the game's setting, but it would be a drop in the ocean compared to what's actually on offer in the game, that much we know for sure.

As for Vault 76, not much is known other than brief snippets of information gleaned from other games.

Post-apocalyptic adventure franchise Fallout is heading to a new part of the United States - and in rather rapid fashion after 2015's Fallout 4. Debuted by Vault-Tec to honor America's tercentenary, the vault was supposed to house 500 people and open just 20 years after the end of the war.

According to a report from journalist Jason Schreier on Kotaku, Fallout 76 will be "an online survival RPG that's heavily inspired by games like DayZ and Rust". After teasing fans of the series with a few hints about an upcoming announcement with regards to the property, the gaming studio finally reveals what they have been working on.

Turns out all that testing has eventuated into a game of its own, with these Kotaku leaks suggesting the game will have a stronger online focus.

Discounting the first two entries in the series (which everyone else already does, anyway), Fallout 3 was released to huge critical and commercial acclaim back in 2008. This does not allow the developers over at Bethesda Game Studios to create an entirely new iteration to the series. For anyone new to Fallout, the games take place in an alternative and retro future in which the United States was nuked and almost destroyed.
