Golden State Warriors Rout Houston Rockets for Force Game 7

Houston head coach Mike D'Atoni spoke to reporters this evening and provided an update on his star point guard.

The last daily fantasy National Basketball Association slate of the conference finals is tonight! Paul has not tested his hamstring since straining it in Game 5. Paul is doubtful to play tonight, but the Rockets have not ruled out the possibility as he will be a game-time decision.

Houston was shut down after that, scoring a combined 47 points in the final three quarters (including 25 in the second half and nine in the fourth). "But we knew this was hard. We're going to come out and we're going to be ready". But the number of ridiculous calls going for the home team, particularly in the third quarter when the game began to get out of hand, was pretty remarkable.

The Warriors have never lacked confidence in this series, even while falling into a 3-2 deficit.

It was a sense of deja vu for Thompson and the Dubs as it's not the first time he's produced heroics in a Game 6 where they were facing elimination. Center Kevon Looney (sore left toe) is also questionable, but the Warriors remain undeterred.

The Warriors spurned to let their succession wrap up on Friday night, outscoring the Rockets at their home court Oracle Arena in a must-win Game 6 matchup during their Western Conference Finals.

On Saturday, the Warriors looked more like the team that swept through the West past year than the one that has struggled offensively against the Rockets. When the Warriors get rolling, the only thing that appears capable of slowing their progress is their own complacency.

"We'll just have to play it by ear", D'Antoni says.

At the end of the day, the Celtics didn't lose Game 6 because of the refs.

"We're not going to be coy with it", D'Antoni said.

The under is 4-0 in the last four Warriors games overall. Fans have Warriors fever ahead of Game 7There are still tickets available. Sympathy for Golden State's plight is likely to be scarce, given Paul's absence for Houston, but Golden State has clearly missed Iguodala's settling nature and passing instincts against Houston's unrelenting physicality. All told, Golden State has had Thompson screen for either Curry or Durant in a pick-and-pop scenario 7.4 times per 100 possessions against Houston this postseason, up from less than once every 100 plays during the regular season.

"We've got a whole city behind us and they are as loyal as they come", Harden said.
