United States grandma Lois Riess stole new friend's identity, murdered her

The video released by the Lee County Sheriff's Office shows 56-year-old Lois Riess of Bloomberg Prairie, Minnesota, talking to 59-year-old Pamela Hutchinson April 5 at the Smokin' Oyster Brewery in Fort Myers Beach. Deputies believe Riess may have targeted Hutchinson because they look alike, and she may have assumed her identity. She was last known to be in the Corpus Christi, Texas area and is believed to be driving Hutchinson's white Acura TL with Florida license plate Y37TAA.

Undersheriff Carmine Marceno says Riess is considered armed and risky and should not be approached. Riess is considered to be armed and unsafe, he said.

Dodge County sheriff's officials say second-degree murder charges in his death are expected in the next few days. Her personal information, including credit cards, are all missing.

Investigators said Riess murdered Hutchinson in her Marina Village condo Monday, then took her ID and vehicle and fled Southwest Florida in Hutchinson's white 2005 Acura TL with a Florida license plate Y37-TAA.

Police believe Riess killed both victims with the same gun, and may still have it.
