Woman, daughter burnt to death by kin in Amethi

A Rochester man faces several charges after police say he entered the Winona home of a pregnant woman, assaulted her physically and sexually, and tried to stop her from calling 911.

Lois Riess of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, has been billed in the death of Pamela Hutchinson, 5-9, of Bradenton, Florida. Authorities later learned she was in south Florida.

"Riess' mode of operation is to befriend women who resemble her and steal their identity", Lee County Undersheriff Carmine Marcino said. She had reportedly already dyed her hair blonde in an alleged attempt to more closely resemble the victim.

She is believed to have traveled west from Florida and was last suspected to be in the area of Corpus Christi, Texas. Also missing was David's Cadillac Escalade.

Riess is wanted in Florida for murder, grand theft of expansive theft and the motor vehicle and criminal use of personal identification. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

She was finally able to go to a neighbor's house for help after Richardson left the house. "U.S. Marshals are actively engaged at a federal search for this risky fugitive".

Authorities say the suspect should be treated as armed and unsafe.

She also has broken vertebrae in her neck along with broken ribs. Prosecutors are now preparing murder expenses at this situation. Minnesota's Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose said Friday that authorities believe the same gun was used in both killings. Business partners of her husband hadn't seen him for two weeks and asked for a welfare check. They obtained a search warrant and prepared to serve it.

Throughout the investigation, police heard that Lois Riess may have now been in Diamond Jo Casino at Iowa.
