Skyrim VR hitting Steam next month

Bethesda will be selling the game at the full price of $59.99 for people to check out.

Though the PSVR release of Skyrim VR was received well, it's expected that a PC VR version will solve a few control issues due to the better motion controllers PC headsets have. This marks the third Bethesda VR title announced for PC with the first one, DOOM VFR followed by Fallout 4 VR. Now, if only Capcom could throw Resident Evil 7 PC players a bone with VR support.

It's hard to believe that there'd be anyone left who hasn't tried Skyrim yet, but if that's you, then maybe you should take Skyrim VR for a spin. However, these processes are typically reserved for the more tech-savvy users, and native Steam support will open the door for players that are just testing the waters of VR, or don't have any experience in modding the game.

Skyrim VR is nearly here! The base game plus its three DLCs (Dawnguard, Dragonborn and Hearthfire) will all be fully implemented in the VR version; the only thing that will really be different are the controls and the perspective, obviously. Are you excited to play Skyrim in VR on your computer?

The official launch date is, again April 3rd, so while waiting, why not tell us your experiences with the game and thoughts about the upcoming port in the comment section down below? "Now, Skyrim VR comes to a new platform - PC using SteamVR - on April 3", the dev wrote on a Bethesda.net blog post. And as always, stay tuned for more gaming news!
