Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference Kicks Off June 4 in San Jose

Apple today announced that WWDC will return to the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California from June 4 - 8, 2018.

Apple has finally provided a date for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), the tech giant's first major event of the year.

Apple will hold a keynote event on Monday, June 4, where the company is likely to announce new devices and hardware, in addition to software developments. Apple confirms that the conference will be livestreamed in the WWDC app for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, as well as on the Apple Developer website.

WWDC 2018 will be held at the McEnery Convention Center, the same location as previous year. If you are one and are registered with Apple as well, then head over to this link to sign up and apply for the ticket. Given Apple's typical yearly upgrade cycle for major iOS and macOS releases, and the fact that it pushes those updates out free of charge for existing users, it's an early look at the sudden influx of new apps and features we can expect.
