While this is the similar panel to the previous generation, this one varies in terms of the build. Weighing just 768 grams, the tablet comes with a thickness of 8.5mm which is good.

The basic core m3 model of the Surface Pro is available at a price of Rs 64,999, while the Core i5 model with two variants of 4GB and 8GB RAM comes with a price tag of Rs 79,999 and Rs 1,06,999 respectively. The company also claims up to 13.5 hours of battery life.

The variant of the Surface Pro with Intel HD Graphics 620, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage retails for Rs. 1,06,999.

Microsoft has launched the new Surface Pro 2017 in India.

San Francisco: Microsoft on Thursday announced its Surface Pro notebook and accessories are available in India. The laptop's hinge can be adjustment up to 165 degrees, allowing users to operate the Surface Pro in Studio Mode. The Microsoft's Panos and a team of executives took the wraps off its new ultimate Windows 10 laptop and named it Surface Pro, apart from the new name, it comes with some new additions.

The Surface Pro comes with 2736 x 1824 pixels of screen resolution with an aspect ratio of 3:2. These devices are powered by Windows 10 as their default operating system.

Camera wise, the Surface Pro boasts an 8MP rear camera, while the front-facing camera is a 5MP module. All these variants have different memory storages with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB of Memory Storage options with the SSD with 4GB, 8GB and 16GB of RAM options. It is powered by the newest 7th generation Kaby Lake processor and claims to offer improved battery backup. Additionally, you will also able to pick them up from offline shops as well which include Croma, Reliance, Vijay Sales, and Microsoft authorised retailers in India starting today.
