Rumor: 'Super Smash Bros.' To Release for Nintendo Switch in 2018

Smash Bros is a series that is no stranger to remixing past content, so here's hoping that the arrival of the franchise on Switch heralds a fresh release rather than serving up the reheated leftovers of the previous generation.

Panic Button have quickly become a fairly well-known name for anyone who closely follows the schedule as much the increasing library of games for the Nintendo Switch. With the dog? Drinking from a sprinkler?

"The Switch release has been flawless". Actually it's mentioned in nearly all the port requests we receive. We have some other titles for [Switch], and maybe some other games for other platforms, in the works. We'll be sure to keep you updated if and when any new information arises. Not yet the platform with the most kits, but definitely the fastest growing trend in our office.

In terms of volume, I'm in this wonderful place where as a studio we get to choose how we want to grow, and with whom, and with what projects.

DOOM is available now on the Nintendo Switch, and is also available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Doom on the Switch is already considered a technical marvel because of how well the developers managed to adapt the demanding game in the unit, which isn't really that powerful.

It's not just Panic Button that is getting swamped with Switch port requests, the interview also has comments from BlitWorks.

"Regarding the development, compared to the Wii U, the Switch is a big leap forward". This not only allows users to aim more precisely by allowing them to tilt their consoles while aiming but also provides for a better and more interactive and immersive interface.
