EA Officially Announces Burnout Paradise Remastered Releasing in March

"We've given Burnout Paradise a complete graphics overhaul, with high-resolution textures and a range of technical enhancements created to deliver all the high-octane chaos with an nearly irresponsible level of visual fidelity", EA writes.

Ten years ago, we got the last title in the Burnout series, Burnout Paradise.

Holy shit, they actually did it. EA have announced that 2008's Burnout Paradise will be getting the remaster treatment, and will be released on March 16th, which is no time at all. Players will be transported back into the world of Paradise City to tear it up in the ultimate driving playground, from hectic downtown avenues to the wild mountain roads.

The revamped Burnout Paradise will support 4K resolution on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, although it will not offer native 4K on all platforms. This includes the extension to the drivable world via Big Surf Island. "Relive the high-octane stunts and wanton destruction of one of the greatest arcade-driving games ever!" The PC version will be available later in the year via Origin and will include all the DLC for the first time. EA Access members can start racing early, as the Play First Trial allowing players to go through 10 hours of unrestricted gameplay starting on March 9, 2018. For the amount of content and the overall experience that Burnout Paradise has to offer, $39.99 is a steal especially since the graphics will be upgraded thanks to modern day technology.
