Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 in India at a starting price of Rs 9,999 and Rs 13,999 respectively. It has the same release date as the Redmi Note 5 - February 22 - and will also be available via Flipkart, Mi Home, and Mi.com. The phone features 12-megapixel primary lens with 1.25-micron pixel and f/2.2 aperture along with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with 1.12-micron pixel and f/2.0 aperture. The dual camera also have EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation) and LED flash. Users can click Portrait mode with both rear and front camera. It is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor, and is available in 3G B/4GB RAM variants.

Then there also is the 20-mp selfie cam at the front, complete with a soft selfie flash.
