Kim Cattrall Blasts 'Hypocrite' Sarah Jessica Parker For 'Exploiting' Her Brother's Death

An ongoing feud between the stars of Sex and the City has plumbed new depths, with Kim Cattrall accusing Sarah Jessica Parker of exploiting the death of her brother.

Earlier this week, Kim confirmed the tragic death of her brother Chris.

Cattrall's brother, 55-year-old Chris Cattrall, was found dead last week after being reported missing. The accompanying caption to the message-driven image accused Parker of "exploiting" the tragedy as a crass attempt at image rehab.

I would like to thank my friends, and #SexandtheCity colleagues for the outpouring of support for myself and family over the past 72 hours.

Cattrall's Instagram post continued: "You are not my friend".

The "SNL" alum and Parker, who also shared scenes in "Sex and the City", joined their cast members at the Paley Center for Media in "An Evening with the Cast of Divorce" on Thursday night.

Kim Cattrall is not here for Sarah Jessica Parker's constant digs about Sex and the City 3, and her insistence on publicly discussing Cattrall's private life. She goes on to quote her mother, who called Parker a "hypocrite".

"Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspped to your beloved brother".

The Sex and the City actresses have famously had a strained relationship following their time on the hit show. SATC co-star Cynthia Nixon also left a note in the comments. So sorry to hear.

We send our love and condolences to Kim and her entire family during this painful time.

"I think [women] can relate to her and they can be friends with her", she told us. "We had this attractive, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story".

"Just heartbroken", she said, clearly stricken "I mean, that whole week, you and I spoke about it endlessly, because I was just, I don't know. That many years spent doing something so special that people had a connection with, it's such a privilege".
