The Spice Girls Confirm They're Exploring 'New Opportunities' Together

"We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching-up and reminiscing about the fantastic times we have spent together". Victoria Beckham, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm have never really left the radar since their collective debut in 1996 - though things have been pretty quiet on the music front since their last reunion.

Commenting on the reunion, the Spice Girls said: 'We have had a wonderful afternoon catching up and reminiscing about the incredible times we have spent together. "So many kisses! X Exciting", and used the hashtags "#girlpower" and "#friendshipneverends", a reference to the Spice Girls' song "Wannabe".

"We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of The Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations".

They had been seen earlier Friday arriving at Horner's home north of London, along with former manager Simon Fuller.

Captioning a picture of the five of them all together, Victoria wrote: "Love my girls!"

The Wannabe hitmakers stunned fans by posting a group photo of them all back together, nearly six years after their final show at the closing ceremony for the London Olympics in 2012.

"Bunton promised the "future is looking spicy" in her post, while Horner said "£girlpower is alive and well", after reports surfaced of a potential meeting to discuss plans for a reunion.

Girl Power is back with the news that 90s pop sensation the Spice Girls could reunite, according to the Euronews.

While no plans for the reunion were confirmed, Sky News reported that TV projects in China, a television singing competition, endorsement deals and a new compilation album were among the offers the group is considering. Brown, Horner and Bunton's planned comeback as trio GEM then failed to materialise in 2016.
