Neymar scores four goals in PSG's win vs. Dijon, gets booed

It was not a flawless night for Neymar however as another penalty disagreement with Edison Cavani led to the home fans booing him as he stepped up to take the penalty which completed the goal scoring of the game. Neymar also had two assists in the victory.

Cavani had tied the PSG record for goals with his previous score and supporters wanted him to become the club's all-time leading scorer with the penalty kick.

Neymar had already wrapped up his first PSG hat-trick with a superb solo effort, before Cavani drew a foul in the area in the last 10 minutes. The Dijon defence were left as sour as mustard as the Argentinian grabbed his second before Edison Cavani and Neymar stretched the hosts lead to 4-0 at the break.

Argentine Di Maria, who grabbed the victor in Sunday's 1-0 victory at Nantes, needed just four minutes in Paris to put the home team ahead with a stunning left-footed strike into the top corner.

Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani made it 3-0 with a score in the 21st minute, before the Brazilian superstar took over.

Neymar scored his final goal of the match in the 83rd minute on a penalty kick. Neymar added his second before scoring a sensational third.

Four minutes later, Mbappe was set up by Neymar and the French global scored PSG's seventh goal with a left-foot shot and Neymar rubbed salt in the visitors' wounds when he converted an 83rd-minute penalty.

BT Sport reported that Neymar was upset by the booing.

"I think Neymar took the penalty because it was also a good day for him".

Unfortunately for PSG coach Unai Emery, his side's thrilling demolition of Dijon was partly overshadowed by Neymar's selfishness in denying Cavani his share of the spotlight, but the former Sevilla coach insists all is well in camp. We're happy with it.
