ESPN's Katie Nolan Calls Donald Trump A 'F*cking Stupid Person'

While appearing on Viceland's talk show "Desus and Mero", the 30-year-old sports talker called POTUS a "f-ing stupid person".

Nolan and the program's hosts discussed whether the thumbs-up sign is a "white power" symbol.

The policy applies to ESPN employees on social media so Nolan didn't technically violate the guidelines since she was not posting online.

"We have looked into the totality of Nolan's comments, they were inappropriate and we have addressed it with her", Jay Jay Nesheim, ESPN's senior director of communications, said in an email to The Post.

Desus said the thumbs-up is now associated with white supremacy because President Trump often uses it in photo-ops.

But her most interesting moment in the interview came when she called Donald Trump a "fu*king stupid person", a brief correction from what she initially called the 45th President of the United States.

Nolan mentioned that she had the flu when she made the comments.

ESPN's new guidelines say employees "should refrain from overt partisanship or endorsement of particular candidates, politicians or political parties" while avoiding "personal attacks and inflammatory rhetoric".

TMZ reported that Nolan will not be suspended for making the comment.

In October, before the new guidelines were released, ESPN suspended "SportsCenter" personality Jemele Hill for what the network deemed a second recent violation of its former social media policy.

ESPN declined to comment to Sporting News about Nolan, but is known to handle controversial situations on a case-by-case basis. Her new podcast for ESPN is expected to launch on January 10.
