LG Announces the HU80KA 4K UHD Projector - CES 2018

As such the LG UHD projector offers an eye squinting 2,500 lumens of brightness. So users are able to move it to another room if they wish to do so. It is a compact and upright device that can create a huge 150-inch screen on your wall.

LG is also claiming that the projector can be ceiling mounted, though we're struggling to work out exactly how you could do so while accommodating its height. The right way to go about it is to add it to a sound bar or as most people do, you can always experience the best surround by using an amplifier combined with 5.1 or 7.1 speaker setup to enjoy true theater like experience at home. Of course what would a "cinematic experience" be without some great sound. Two 7W speakers provide on-board sound, though when you're spending this much on a projector, you'll nearly certainly want to hook it up to a decent home cinema sound system. The projector has a portable form factor with the mirrorless I-shaped engine that lets it do the task it is meant to even if you place it on the floor or hang it from the ceiling. One of the images here shows that the projector can toss its image even when only a few inches from the wall.

Aside from the above-mentioned features, the HU80KA also sports an Auto Cord, which allows the cable to rapidly wind up. When it comes to the content, customers won't have any problems in finding anything to watch. So there are plenty of apps and games available, including all of the big names like Netflix, YouTube, Google Play Movies & TV, and much more.

There's a built-in smart TV as well as USB, Ethernet, HDMI and Bluetooth connectivity.

LG touts that the company's engineers have challenged themselves to come up with the 4K projector that is smaller than the others on the market without letting down on the performance.

The South Korean manufacturer, LG is expanding its reach in CES with a number of products getting ready to be showcased.
