Fans have noticed something sneaky Ashley Young did before elbowing Dusan Tadic

Ashley Young is sweating on a possible retrospective ban from the FA after appearing to elbow Southampton's Dusan Tadic on Saturday.

Young was spotted by cameras elbowing Southampton midfielder Dusan Tadic during yesterday's 0-0 draw.

He accepted a violent conduct charge following an off-the-ball incident during the game against Southampton but argued the suspension was excessive.

Asked if Young should have have been sent off, Tadic said: "Yes".

The 32-year-old could face a three-match ban if found guilty, which would rule him out of the New Year's Day meeting with Everton, Friday's FA Cup tie against Derby County and then a Premier League clash with Stoke City 10 days later. I didn't really understand.

Young, who joined United from Aston Villa in June 2011, returned to the England squad last month after a four-year global absence.
