Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's wedding date is out!

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's wedding date is out!

Interestingly, the wedding day falls on the same day with the FA Cup final which Prince William usually attends to present the trophy.

Meghan Markle will also be joining the Queen and other members of the royal family at Sandringham, the Queen's private estate in Norfolk, on Christmas Day.

The couple had confirmed that their wedding ceremony will take place some time in May at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Kensington Palace released a statement via Twitter today.

Mr Knauf said Harry and Ms Markle "want the public to feel part of their day" - and are looking at ways to achieve that.

Kensington Palace said in a tweet: "His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle will marry on 19th May 2018".

Markle is planning to get baptised in the Church of England ahead of her marriage and will apply for British citizenship, as well as giving up her worldwide charity campaigning.

It will be interesting to see if the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh extend an invitation to the Trump family.

Royal officials have previously said Markle, who is Roman Catholic, will be baptised in the Church of England prior to the wedding, and intends to become a British citizen.

The actress will not be continuing her work on gender with the United Nations or with other organisations, but instead will be starting her charity work as a full-time royal afresh. The couple met in July 2016 through mutual friends. "It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together".

Welsh gold for the wedding bands is a tradition started by the Queen Mother when she married the future King George VI in 1923.

The fifth in line to Britain's throne had revealed his engagement to the 36-year- old actress, best known for her role as Rachel Zane in the legal drama "Suits", last month.

Harry and Ms Markle will have a church wedding, with the Archbishop of Canterbury saying they had "chosen to make their vows before God".

The "Suits" actress will be spending the holidays with the royals and many understand that picking the best gift for the monarch might be hard for Markle.

"The wedding will take place in Spring 2018".
