Fallen Kingdom Stomp In

The first plot details have come online for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Set several years after Jurassic World, a dormant volcano has become active on Isla Nublar, and threatens to wipe out the remaining dino population.

The behind-the-scenes video also shows a shot of Chris Pratt (Owen Grady) and the other cast and crew members filming a scene that was featured in the recently released teaser trailer.

Well, the park may not be in good shape, but Jurassic World is back.

"Claire's founded an organization, Dinosaur Protection Group, and they're finding a way to get these dinosaurs off the island", Howard tells EW.

Meanwhile, Claire and Owen's (Chris Pratt) relationship seems to fall by the wayside in The Fallen Kingdom.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has been promoted with the tagline "Life Finds A Way", a callback to a line of dialogue spoken by Goldblum's characger in the original Jurassic Park.

We also see hints of Jeff Goldblum, who returns to reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm, who appears to be brought before a committee of some sort to make a decision on the situation that is happening. Colin Trevorrow, producer and writer of Fallen Kingdom said that it was important for them to balance the story on the characters new and old (maybe gadgets too, one can spot Samsung smart glasses in the featurette).

The first full trailer releases Thursday night, but this featurette, with lots of dinosaurs, practical effects, explosions, and Jeff Goldblum, is a pretty good way to get us excited in the meantime. In the video, his character can be seen testifying in what looks like a courtroom and he delivers this hilarious meta-dialogue, "Here I am, talking about dinosaurs again".
